What are the requirements for the service?
A broadband Internet connection such as cable or DSL and a regular telephone.
What features are included?
The SplashBox is a full featured telephone line. Please see Features.
I just want unlimited calling to one destination. Is there a plan just for my one destination?
At this time we are only selling the World Unlimited Plan, World Unlimited Plan + Korea Mobile, and World Unlimited Plan + Korea Mobile + Vietnam Mobile and Landlines, which probably includes the destination in question. Think of it as having the luxury of calling any of these nations any time as a bonus.
How do I make a call?
For international numbers dial: 011 + Country Code + City Code + Phone Number
For United States, Guam, or Canada phone number: 1 + Area Code + Phone Number
Are the phone calls clear?
The calls are as clear as a standard telephone line as long as your internet is stable. If you have cable internet or DSL you will experience excellent quality. Why don’t you make a test call at our locations at Cost U Less?
How long does installation take? What does it involve?
Our system is plug n play. Installs should take no more than 30 minutes. The purpose of installations is to make sure that voice quality is up to par and that the customer is receiving and able to make calls.
What happens during a power outage? Will I be able to receive calls?
If you had set call forwarding or simultaneous ring our service will continue to work. It just will not ring the station that is connected to the SplashBox.
I accidentally spilled water on the splashbox / I broke it, what do I do?
You must purchase another splashbox (pricing will vary based on contract)
Can I travel with the Splashbox?
Yes, you can! As long as there is a stable broadband internet connection and no firewalls to interfere.
When is my payment due?
It is due the same date that you signed up every month. For example if you signed up on the 5th your payment is due every month on the 5th.
What types of payment are accepted?
Credit Card, Cash that can be dropped off at our drop boxes at both Paulino Cellular’s, and Checks made out to Splash Telecom ($50 returned check fee will be charged).
I am signed up for automatic recurring payments via credit card, what will show up on my statement?
You will be billed by Splash Telecom.
Will I get an invoice if I am billed using automatic recurring payments?
You will receive an email anytime your card is charged.
What happens when my contract is up?
You will be moved to a month to month plan.
Can I get a Guam phone number?
At this time we are not offering Guam Phone numbers
Will there be any surcharges like the other telecom companies on island?
No surcharges!
How do I check my voicemail?
Please follow the instructions at Help under Voicemail.
What do the lights mean on the Splash box?
You should see 3 green lights (power, Ethernet, and Phone 1). If you see a red light make sure that everything is plugged as it should be and that you have an internet connection. If you see 3 green lights everything is working as it should.
I am experiencing poor call quality to a certain number. What should I do?
Go online or go to one of our retail outlets at Cost-U-Less and fill out a trouble ticket and a technician will be in touch with you shortly.
If I have technical problems, who do I see?
Our retail outlets can do basic tutorials such as portal tutorials, voicemail, tutorials etc. Otherwise please fill out a trouble ticket at one of our stations or online in the contact us form.
What is your cancellation policy?
You must pay half the worth of the remaining contract. For example if you have 4 months left on your contract, you are obligated to pay for 2 months.
