How it works
Dial the first party. Ask them to hold. Press the flash button or the switch hook on your phone. The first call will be put on hold and you will hear a dial tone. Dial the second number and wait for an answer. Press the flash button or switch hook on your phone.

Splash Telecom Call Forwarding lets you ring multiple numbers of your choice. You can send incoming calls to any phone number you choose, even International numbers.

Sequential ringing
With Sequential Ringing, your incoming calls will ring each number you specify in the exact order you choose for the length of time you select. If a number you chose is in use or does not answer, the next number in your list will immediately ring. Sequential ringing can ring both in network and out of network numbers including long distance and international numbers. Why do you want this? Let's say you don't want callers to go to voicemail even when you can't get the phone. You can add all of your numbers including other business associates, your home, office, cell and even your friends or someone else who takes calls for you. With sequential ringing you'll never miss an important call.

Simultaneous ringing
This incredible feature rings all the numbers you chose at one time. The call will connect to the first phone answered. Why do you want this? This feature is perfect for companies who have multiple people available to take calls or for individuals on the move. Users that are not always near one specific phone can make sure callers reach you in the fewest number of rings. Whether you're at home, in the car, out to lunch, traveling or at work, you can answer a call fast.

How it works
Advanced Call Forwarding is included with every Splash Telecom account at no additional cost. Forward calls are included in any Calling Plan as long as the calls are covered by that plan. For example: Customer has US/CA Unlimited plan and forwards the calls to a Canada phone.

Easy to setup and easy to use
Setting up Splash Telecom Call Forwarding is easy.

• Login to the web based Control Panel.
• Click the Call Forwarding tab.
• Enter the numbers you want to ring.
• Choose Sequential or Simultaneous and the number of seconds you want the system to ring.

Have you ever missed a call and not know who it was? With Call Return you can simply call back the last number who called you. Missed more than one call? Get a complete Call History or Missed Calls listing from the online user Control Panel.

How it works
Pick up your handset, listen for the dial tone and dial *69 from many Internet phones. Check with your device manufacturer for the required dialing code.

How it works
On many Internet Phones, while on a call, press the flash key on your phone to access a new dial tone.

• To transfer the call without announcing the call to the recipient (Blind Transfer) dial *98 and then dial the number as you would dial when making a call.
• To transfer the call and announce the caller (attended transfer), dial *99 and then dial the number as you would dial when making a call.

Note: Call Transfer is not supported when calls originate from the PSTN. Call Transfer is possible when transferring from and to a Virtual Number if both UA's support it. However, this feature is not guaranteed.

If you are on the phone when another call comes in, a tone will sound, enabling you to answer the second call. If you choose not to answer the second call, it will be forwarded (if forwarding is enabled) otherwise it will be answered by voicemail (if enabled). If you use Caller ID, the caller's phone number will appear in the display before you answer the second call. Call waiting is enabled by default.

How it works
When you hear the call waiting tone, press the flash button on your phone to switch to the second call.

Take only the calls you want with the feature Caller ID with Name. Know who is calling you before you answer the phone. When your phone rings, the name and phone number of the person calling you will show on your Caller ID enabled phone display. It also works with call waiting, and will show the caller's phone number as the call waiting tone sounds.

How it works

• No setup is required. All you need is a phone with a Caller ID display.

Caller ID with name is comprised of two parts:

• The Number, commonly referred to as CPN (Calling Party Number)
• The Name, commonly referred to as CNAM (Calling Name Delivery). 

While the caller id with number is sent along with every call, the name sometimes is not.  When a call arrives into a network and the name is not delivered for that call, a CNAM tool is used to associate the name of a caller with the number.  An external database is used to make this association so that Caller ID with name can be displayed on your phone.

NOTE: CNAM information for all new phone numbers or any changes made to current phone numbers in an account will take a minimum of eight (8) days for information to be updated in all phone company databases worldwide.  We cannot guarantee either of these items for every call.

When the Do Not Disturb feature is enabled, all incoming calls will be routed directly to your voicemail (if enabled) and your phone will not ring.

How it works
Do Not Disturb can be enabled through the Call Forwarding feature of the Control Panel

• Login to the Control Panel and click the Call Forwarding tab.
• In step one, click Send immediately to my voice mail (Do Not Disturb).

Splash Telecom offers an International Call Block feature which allows you to block international calling. This feature protects you from unintended international calls by disabling them.

How it works
To enable International call block, login to the user Control Panel, Virtual Numbers page and uncheck the box marked "Allow International LD". To allow International calls simply check the box.

Multi-Ring is a powerful feature that allows you set incoming calls to ring you at several numbers, either simultaneously or sequentially, in any order you like and for as long as you like. This feature is set up in your online user Control Panel.

How it works

• Login to your Control Panel.
• Click on the "Call Forwarding" tab.
• Enter the numbers you want to ring when you receive incoming calls and the length of time and then click update.

Control Panel
The Splash Telecom Control Panel contains all of your information in one easy to access location. Here you can view your call history for incoming and outgoing calls searchable by date. The control panel allows you to view and change account and billing information, add premium services, listen to voicemail, manage call forwarding and more.

How it works

• Login to your Control Panel using your Splash Telecom phone number and password.
• See online Control Panel help pages for support.

User Control Panel Function Overview
Each Splash Telecom VN (virtual number) is provided with its own UCP that allows access to account information, change passwords, Call History, and more. Login requires an active VN and password. A paying account offers 2 levels of control panel access:

Account information
Refers to your personal or company info that you provided us with at the time of account activation. Your personal info as well as your e-mail address can be updated from this screen.

Plan information
When accessed with the PM Password offers the following tools:

• Calling plans: shows what calling plans you purchased. This feature contains: plan name, renew date if applicable, Regional (Miami area) minutes, monthly USA and Canada minutes, minutes remaining and Splash Telecom phone number enabled for that particular plan.
  
  
• Prepaid Long Distance(LD): illustrates all your prepaid long distance purchases. This feature lists: date purchased, last use, original amount and remaining amount.

Virtual numbers
When accessed with the phone password it will only show the information associated with that number.

• Your voicemail (VM) password is by default set to 0000. Access your voicemail at 8500.
  
  
• Do not send e-mail updates: if you choose not to receive e-mail updates from Splash Telecom.com, please make sure this feature is disabled.
  
  
• Registered users: This section offers an excellent tool to determine if your IP phones are registering, or connecting to the Splash Telecom server properly. "Registration expires" shows that the IP phone associated with that particular number is currently connected to the system and there should be no problem making calls. If a VN lacks a «Registration expires» entry, the IP phone is not connected with Splash Telecom either due to the fact that the phone is off line, turned off or due to technical difficulties.

Call forwarding
This is a very powerful feature. With this feature you could possibly eliminate the need for phone hardware such as a PBX. All incoming calls can be first routed to one particular VN, then forwarded to others in the order that you wish. Now you can manage all of your phones by setting Call Forwarding and ring multiple phones at once. Set the advanced forwarding option on your account and see the possibilities. You may forward your IP calls to other VN numbers or PSTN numbers. All PSTN calls with PAYG plans will be charged our current rates at the time of the calls. Unlimited plan users do not have an additional charge for call forwarding.

Conference
The Conference section allows you to set up, edit and notify participants of a conference call.

Call history
Shows all calls made by a specific VN and the list is updated up to the minute so you will know exactly how much you are spending. To view very recent calls, please make sure to click search. The call history report features: date of the call, calling number, number called, disposition or result of the call, type of call or rate code, duration of the call (includes ringing time) and cost of the call (calculated from the time the call is answered).

Missed calls
You can view any missed calls by selecting a date range to report on. The results will provide: date, number called, calling number, caller ID and disposition (call went to voice mail or was not answered).

Faxes
Customers who subscribe to our fax to email service have the option to view their faxes via the Internet. Access the PM account control panel and click on faxes to view all the faxes you received. Received faxes will display the date of the fax, remote station ID otherwise known as the fax sending number, number of pages, bytes- the size of the fax, fax resolution, fax transfer rate and view- click on the Adobe icon to view the fax in a PDF format.

Notepad
The Notepad section allows users to type notes, save them, and email them to others.

Rates
By using this feature, you can very easily determine the calling rate to a certain PSTN telephone number. The lookup will display prefix information such as per minute rate and available calling plans that are offered for this prefix.

Via Control Panel

• Login to your Control Panel.
• Refer to the "Voicemail' panel on the left to hear, save or delete your voicemail messages.
• Click on the "Virtual Numbers" tab to modify your voicemail passwords and click on "Update" to save your changes.

Via phone

• Dial 8500.
• Enter your phone number and password.
• Follow the voice prompts to hear, save, or delete your voicemail messages, or for other options.

You can establish multiple lines to share your prepaid call credit with friends and family, make Free calls between lines and use Prepaid Call Credit from multiple locations such as your home and office.

Create additional lines or "Virtual Numbers" through the online user Control Panel.

• Scroll down and click ADD
• Select a 7 digit number and click ADD
• If the number you chose is already in use, select another number
